1Step2Step Quiz 2019
The annual fund-raising event, the 1Step2Step Quiz, returned on Friday 17 May 2019. Participants assembled at Trimpell Sports and Social Club in Morecambe. Some had already organised themselves into teams of four to six people, while others formed teams on the night.
Quizmaster Chris
Our genial host and quizmaster was Chris Dixon, returning by popular demand, with several rounds of questions ranging from “What is the highest number used in a Sudoku puzzle?” to “Who were the three tenors?” and many more besides. An innovation this year included a section of the music round with songs to identify sung in a “Vic Reeves nightclub singer style” – an unforgettable, if challenging, experience.

Apart from Chris, the other main organisers were Emma Dixon and Jannicke Ive, who did an excellent job preparing for the event and making sure that it ran smoothly.
Emma said “Fun was had by all at the 1Step2Step quiz night. This year’s quiz featured some new rounds including a map symbols round, a spot the brand tasting round and a Eurovision round. Thank you to everyone who came along and took part and helped to make it a success.”
Here’s what you could have won
The event raised £252.50 to support 1Step2Step and helped to raise awareness of the charity in our local community.
We would also like to thank the staff at Trimpell Sports and Social Club who helped and supported the event.
