Nicola’s dance skills on display at retirement party
On the same day as the container arrived, there was a retirement party for four of the staff. I was roped in to join a dance group which performed at the party. Thankfully the style of dance was wholesome and not excessively traditional Thai. There was lots of finger clicking and hand tapping, which took some brain power, but was fun. Pictures below show how we had to wear white dresses and hold candles while singing and then do the clapping. The song was about the lady in white, as the group was the nurses group. I made few mistakes, but was not too bad. I had been up since 4am that day.
